River Island Community Park - Central Falls, RI
Winner of the 2003 John H. Chafee Conservation Award from the Environmental Council of Rhode Island, The Gifford Design Group provided environmental planning and landscape architecture services for this park. Work included site analysis, wetland permitting, master plan design, and preparation of final bidding specifications. The completed park includes a walking/running track, a pedestrian bridge, and a canoe launch, all along the Blackstone River. Client: City of Central Falls |
